Life Is A Trip
Goodbye, Farewell, I am going on a voyage,
But Life is a trip from “here to there”;
I’ll return with lots of notes: a mental forage,
Resplendent, receptive and prepared:
For the journey through the vicissitudes of Time,
Step by step, hour by hour, day by day,
(While stopping on the way to write a rhyme!)
