Bonnie Lou, Founder of AgeEsteem® is an internationally recognized motivational speaker who inspires and challenges.  Soon to be 65 she feels that life becomes more exciting each day!   For the last twenty years she has specialized in motivation and its power to influence positive change in individuals and organizations. 

Bonnie Lou’s vision for AgeEsteem® is a world where age and aging are celebrated and people of all ages are respected as contributing members of society. For this to happen each of us needs to feel good about ourselves at the age we are.  

AgeEsteem® is a natural offspring of Bonnie Lou’s private life experiences and professional career.  She is Founding Partner, BLEWFIELD ASSOCIATES Energizing individuals ~ Enriching organizations, which specializes in motivation and helping people shine through their special talents and interests in their work and private lives.

Throughout her career, Bonnie Lou has been involved in issues relating to older people.  She has directed a team of 40 volunteers in the geriatric ward of a hospital, and served on the boards of several retirement homes for people of varying degrees of care needs.  She has worked with groups and coached individuals approaching retirement, and conducted substantial primary research on what people see as the challenges and solutions to having personal esteem as they ‘age’. 

Previous to founding her own businesses, Bonnie Lou Fatio held management positions in education, business and healthcare. 

She has held multiple Community Leadership positions including local government.
Bonnie Lou presently serves on the board of Legacy®, and collaborates actively with
the World YWCA.

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education plus a Teachers Certificate from Michigan State University, U.S.A. and a Master of Arts degree in Human Resources Development from Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland.

Personal
Bonnie Lou grew up in the Midwest, U.S.A. and holds both American and Swiss citizenships.  She and her husband, Gerard Fatio, have a daughter, Laetitia, and a granddaughter, Jessica.
