Tyler, TJ and tante Baba (Bonnie Lou)

I love being adopted! - Especially since I'm not yet a grandmother. Here are two of my playmates, grandnephews Tyler and TJ Harmon, on the beach with me at Longboat Key, Florida. When it comes to letting the water tickle our feet, age is no factor. In fact we soon were wet to the knees.

The children call me tante Baba, because their father still does. As a child he couldn't pronounce Bonnie, so it became Baba with tante which is French for aunt. When TJ brought me a shell stating, "Tante Baba, this is for you." I wrote the date in it and told him I was going to save it because he is the second generation to call me Tante Baba. Sentimental? You bet.
